2009 Itinerary


Wouldn't you LOVE it if I told you what we were planning.....well why don't you sign up for the newsletter for the most up to date information for 2009.

Below is what we did last year, just to keep you coming back for more!


Wednesday

3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Check In to NV   Be sure to check in at the registration desk to get your member packet!
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Meet and Greet Social in front of lodge. (Daily Events Board will be posted in the main lodge. This will be updated regularly.)
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Dinner
8:00 PM - WHENEVER Socialize and Create Member Map (This will allow everyone to know who is in what cabin!)

Thursday

7:00 AM - 9:00 AM Early Bird Sunrise on the Skyway Run! For those who just cant wait to get started driving... How about an early morning run on the famous Cherohala Skyway!   This will be a self guided run.. have fun, but be back by 9:30 for the morning briefing!

9:30 AM - 10:30AM Introductions, Safety Briefing, "8-Mazing Race" Scavenger Hunt Teams and Rules breakdown. We will have a "get to know each other" exercise, and the Scavenger Hunt teams will be divided.

10:30 AM - 6:00 PM "8-Mazing Race" Scavenger Hunt!  All registered members will be sorted into teams.  As you take this time to get to know the roads and scenery of the area, you will be asked to locate various landmarks and other items of interest.  This will not be SPEED focused, the team that brings back the most items will receive an award!  This will be an all day event filled with lots of fun and driving!   You will need a digital camera for this event!

7:00 PM Dinner

8:30 PM "8-Mazing 8 Party and Results"  at bonfire pit! YES! We will have a bonfire this year! (Local conditions permitting)

Friday

9:00 AM - 4:00 PM White Water Rafting
4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Free Time/Dragon Runs
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Dinner
8:00 PM to WHENEVER - Gameshow Night

This event will be held in the main lodge. "The Price is Right", "Deal or No Deal", and "Lets Make a Deal"....will be some of the games we will play! These games will be for valuable prizes! 


Saturday

10:00 AM - 3PM Show And Shine Car Show at Main Lodge with Awards Ceremony

The car show catagories have changed a bit this year.   There will be an award for each of the following:

Officers Choice - Best in Show
Peoples Choice - Best in Show


Best Stock - Defined as having only minor appearance modifications and accessories offered in a Mazda accessories catalog or parts companies such as rx8strakes.com.
Best Modified - Defined as having body kits or components and/or aftermarket wheels.
Best Extreme Modified - Defined as having custom paint, forced induction, custom AV/Video, custom body kits,   

 

3:00 PM - 3:30 PM - Group photo shoot
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Skyway and Dragon Runs (Self Guided)
7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Dinner
8:00 PM till 11PM - Vegas Night - Dragon Style!

This event will be a bit different than the past... All paid members will be given $100 in DRAGON BUCKS! You can use these chips to gamble at ANY of the four tables we will have: Texas Hold'em, Blackjack, Roulette, and 3,3,9 (Progressive pot, 3 card poker). The top winners at 11pm will get to select from a group of great prizes! The person with the most dragon bucks at the end of the night will be the Vegas Night Champion! Best of all ... there is NO buy in! Everyone can play.. as long as you are registered!
